IFS actions

  • Supporting companies and laboratories

IFS and its network of experts will guide companies and laboratories at different levels of their projects (information, training, feasibility studies, pilot scale).
IFS offers various training to help discover, use and develop supercritical fluids technologies.

  • Assistance to students

IFS assist students in their academic project by providing appropriate and specialized training on supercritical fluid technologies.

  • Coordination of the network of experts

IFS offers collective actions to experts in the field of subrcritical and supercritical fluids, including the promotion of the technology to different audiences and international study missions.

A network of French and international experts

IFS brings together forty members who form the wide majority of the supercritical fluids French community. Our members are well-established companies and laboratories worth of several years of research and engineering experience in subcritical and supercritical fluids technologies as well as newly established companies in the field.

Supercritical Fluids Innovation (IFS) is now the only French association that brings together companies and researchers specialized in the field of subcritical and supercritical fluids.

IFS partners abroad

IFS has a broad and dynamic international outreach through strong partnerships and collaboration with companies and laboratories working within the field of subcritical and supercritical fluids.

Our international network covers a dozen countries and gathers forty experts worldwide.

IFS is also strongly involved with the International Association of subcritical and supercritical fluids (ISASF), which one of the main tasks is to organize international scientific congresses.

  • Europe

IFS is connected with most European key players in the field (England, Germany, Italy, Spain, The Netherlands, Czechoslovakia ... )

  • China

IFS has a (five years) partnership with a group of Chinese research centers working on subcritical and supercritical fluids.

This group, led by the Division of Supercritical Fluids Technology of the Institute of Chemical and Engineering of China also includes Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, the Chinese Academy Sciences-Beijing, East China University of Science & Technology Tianjin University ...

  • Japan

IFS has a (two years) partnership with a group of Japanese research centers and companies working on subcritical ans supercritical fluids. This group run by Tohoku University and the Study Group for Sustainable Technology also includes AIST, Kumamoto University, Tskuba center ..

  • Canada

IFS is a founding member of a Franco - Québecois network dedicated to eco-processes and composed of several Québecois technical centers (CTTEI , CEPROCQ ITEGA and CNETE) and French actors (competitiveness cluster Trimatec , Algasud network , French Membrane Club, IFS).
